Polyfidelity is a term for polyamorous relationship with multiple people that are closed. This means that a group of 3 or more will decide to be in a closed relationships where they all agree not to date or have sex outside of that relationship.

Threesomes are probably not as common in polyamory as you think but that doesn't mean they can't be an awesome part of your sex life. What kinds of agreements do you need to make beforehand? Who should be involved in those decision? How can you ensure that all three people feel respected?

Coming Out as polyamorous can be a daunting task but if you feel like you can do it safely, it can be a great benefit, not only to yourself but to all non-monogamous people. In polyamory, some people choose to designate someone as their "primary" partner and other people as their "secondary" partners. Most people do this to try and feel safe in their relationships but it can also be a very harmful thing. If these labels are used to describe your relationships it can be helpful (descriptive hierarchy) but when hierarchy is used to control your relationships (prescriptive hierarchy) it can be very destructive in the long run.
